We don’t exactly do a good job of hiding it here at The Coolector that graphic tees are a go-to piece of apparel for us and we’re always on the hunt for new brands offering top notch graphic t-shirts to add to our collection. This led us squarely to the door of North Adams Company and their, frankly excellent, selection of printed tees that anyone who gravitates towards simple, clean t-shirt design will appreciate.

North Adams Company began, as most good companies do, as a solution to a problem. The team behind the brand would often struggle to find graphic tees with understated designs. The t-shirts available online and in stores were either too busy or just not in their style. They knew full well there were talented artists out there creating unique, visually engaging artwork that would work well on shirts. And so they teamed up with some of the most uniquely talented artists around the world to bring you a better graphic tee. Check out our pick of 8 of the best below:

Rings of Life Tee
This is a cross section of a birch tree. Notice the fairly unusual splits in the middle of the rings. The birch has a long history of medicinal benefits including being used as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. Show your love for the outdoors in this uniquely illustrated graphic tee that’s also super comfortable to wear.

Bicycle Tee
You don’t have to be a cyclist to appreciate this design, but if you are, you know the joys and benefits of riding. This simple illustration is perfect for bike lovers and appreciators of minimalist composition and color. The illustration features the profile of a bicycle behind a sweeping, vibrant color scheme.

Single Leaf Tee
The humble leaf plays a vital role in the health of our forests. They turn sunlight into food for trees and plants, and their leaf litter provides critical nutrients and habitat for plant life and animals. Give a nod to our amazing trees with this simple, masterfully crafted illustration.
