If there’s one thing that is highly noticeable and differentiates our nations, it is our coins. Whether it’s your 50p in the UK or 25c in USA, they’re all highly unique to the individual country from which they originate. Well, The Coolector has just stumbled upon a highly awesome piece of work that goes by the name of Tales You Lose and it will change the way that you look at your nation’s currency.
Tales You Lose is the work of Andre Levy, a Brazilian born but German residing artist and this top notch body of work started out as an Instagram initiative but has rapidly grown out of control and the bonkers but brilliant Brazilian is continually adding to his collection of coin based art. We’re loving the stylised paintings he’s produced here at The Coolector and, I think it’s fair to say, if we ever were to have currency with the face of Robocop on it, that would be a great day indeed.
