The moon is an object of much intrigue and love for a lot of people and it’s little wonder that it serves as the inspiration for an abundance of design projects – few better than these wonderfully inventive Field Notes Lunacy Notepads which is their 32nd Quarterly release for autumn, 2016, and it’s glorious.
The Field Notes Lunacy Notepads come in packs of three to represent a harvest moon and boasts embossed covers which are crafted from Neenah’s Classic Crest “Epic Black Stipple” and offers a stunning leathery finish.
For the first time, Field Notes have die-cut the covers of their notebooks, making use of individual dies for each of the three books. One shows a full moon, one a half moon, and one a crescent. Check out a few more shots below:

Field Notes are known for their inventive notebooks and this Lunacy series is probably our favourite to date here at Coolector HQ. Each notepad is die-cut and printed in 4-colour on a glossy flyleaf which also has facts and folklore about earth’s lunar buddy, not to mention a striking shot of the dark side of the moon in the back of the books. A great piece of EDC for getting the creative juices flowing.
