The exploration of space is, let’s face it, utterly fascinating and though the number of missions seems to have tailed off a bit over the last few decades, we’re now able to revel in the awesomeness of the early Apollo space missions now that the good chaps at NASA have released the Project Apollo Archive which is nothing short of breathtaking.
Consisting of an archive of over 12,000 photos taken between the missions of Apollo 7 and Apollo 17, there are some truly mind blowing images from space to take in, including some hitherto unseen shots of Neil Armstrong et all landing on the moon.
